Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Networking Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller who can effectively convey the impact of our organization to diverse audiences through various channels, both online and through public speaking engagements. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in raising awareness, engaging supporters, and securing financial partnerships critical to sustaining our mission.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Communication: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy that effectively communicates the mission, challenges, successes, and impact of the Joshua Initiative.

  • Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that highlight the stories of families we serve, showcasing the transformative work being accomplished through our organization.

  • Public Speaking: Represent the Joshua Initiative at public events, conferences, and meetings, effectively articulating our mission and inspiring support from various stakeholders.

  • Audience Engagement: Engage with our community through social media platforms, newsletters, and other digital channels to foster a strong connection with our mission and encourage involvement.

  • Fundraising: Collaborate closely with our development team to identify and cultivate relationships with potential financial partners, effectively converting supporters into committed donors.

  • Impact Reporting: Develop reports and materials that demonstrate the measurable impact of donations and investments, ensuring transparency and accountability to our supporters.


Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or related field, preferably within the non-profit sector.

  • Excellent Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences effectively.

  • Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans that achieve organizational goals.

  • Relationship Builder: Ability to cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and community partners.

  • Problem Solver: Highly skilled at identifying challenges and developing innovative solutions to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Passion for Mission: Alignment with the values and mission of the Joshua Initiative, with a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

  • Flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities with a high level of autonomy.
