Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Creative Director to lead the strategic development and execution of our brand’s visual identity across various platforms. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our brand voice while expanding our reach through compelling graphic design, multimedia content, and digital storytelling.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Integrity: Drive and maintain the integrity of the Joshua Initiative’s brand across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment with our mission and values.

  • Creative Strategy: Develop and implement creative strategies that effectively communicate our brand message through visually engaging graphics, animations, videos, and other multimedia content.

  • Innovation Leadership: Stay at the forefront of industry trends and technology advancements, utilizing cutting-edge tools and techniques to enhance our digital presence and expand our audience.

  • Content Creation: Conceptualize and produce high-quality graphics, videos, and other visual assets for web, mobile apps, social media, and printed materials, adhering to platform-specific best practices and algorithm guidelines.

  • Social Media Management: Manage and oversee multiple social media profiles, ensuring cohesive messaging and effective engagement strategies that amplify our brand’s reach and impact.

  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to align creative efforts with organizational goals and initiatives.

  • Continuous Learning: Proactively self-educate and stay abreast of emerging trends and tools in visual communication, maintaining proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Wix Studio, and other relevant software.


Requirements:

  • Expertise: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, Character Animator), Google Suite, YouTube, and Instagram.

  • Working Knowledge: Experience with platforms such as Basecamp, Canva, and Amazon KDP.

  • Creative Skills: Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.

  • Communication: Capable of generating and communicating the Joshua Initiative’s brand voice through innovative visual storytelling.

  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt creative strategies for different platforms and target audiences, ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness.

  • Copywriting: Capable of crafting compelling copy that complements visual content and reinforces brand messaging.
