The Three Commands
LOVE GOD • LOVE PEOPLE • HOPE
The first two commands are based on Matthew 22.
Matthew 22: 36-40
36 “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” 37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
The third command is based on the missionary commission that all of us as Christians are called to in 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 & 1 Peter 3:15.
2 Corinthians 5:17-18
17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
18 And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.
1 Peter 3:15
15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,
We exist to equip, encourage and support families by stirring up a passion in their hearts for God's Word, to give them hope and to inspire them to impact their communities for Christ!
In an age where morals are mocked, manhood is muted, womanhood is defined by independence and lies to youth are prevalent, it’s clear that our nation is in dire need of missionaries. Men and women with the right perspective, boldly and courageously calling for a revival of Godly principles in our nation, neighborhoods, homes but most importantly, our own hearts.
